There was so much to love about Eva & Adib’s tropical Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens wedding!  The bright colours of Eva’s bouquet and flower crown, her Christian Louboutin shoes, Adib’s laid back approach and his crack-up funny groomsmen, gosh I even loved the hot, tropical weather straight out of South-East Asia (although I could be alone there…).  Most of all I adored the mixture of Indonesian and Persian cultures melting together in one beautiful celebration of love & happiness.  Keep an eye out for the photo of Adib as a child wearing his “One Planet, One People” t-shirt, which pretty much sums it all up!  Theirs was a wedding filled with so much laughter and good times, even my cheeks were hurting at the end.  Congratulations again guys, it was a true pleasure to photograph your day!

Happy New Year everybody!!  I hope you’ve all had a fantastic break and are feeling refreshed for the year ahead.  Wow 2013, what a year!!  I feel so incredibly grateful to have photographed weddings for such wonderful couples, you are all very special and gorgeous inside and out.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you for making 2013 such an amazing one for me!  Along with weddings in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron Bay the destination weddings in Italy and Uruguay were amazing, I’ll never forget any of them!  It’s been such a hard task narrowing down these images, there are so many more I’d love to show, and quite a few that I simply haven’t had time to post on the site yet!  Here is just a snippet then, of 2013…. a year filled with LOVE….

At Lauren & Steve’s Boomerang Farm wedding there was sooo much love floating through the air, it was absolutely infectious!

The day was filled with all things pretty, from Lauren’s shoes, delicate lace gown, gorgeous flowers and the jacaranda trees which were in full bloom.  Boomerang Farm has fast become one of my favourite Gold Coast wedding venues, the ceremony area is so sweet set in amongst the palms and the character-filled barn always looks so great lit up at night.  While the grey clouds threatened overhead all day they held off… as if by magic.  Could it have been that we really were in a love bubble?

Lauren and Steve, gosh you guys are SO great together!  Wedding details aside, it was witnessing your love for eachother and the warmth of your families and friends that made your day so extra special.  Thank you  for inviting me to be a part of it!
