Let me tell you a little secret.  Just 10 minutes west of Murwillumbah lies a little town called Tyalgum.  If you haven’t been there yet, pack your bags and go.  It’s a truly magical place!  Eirin and Annie May live in Byron Bay, and are clever folk highly educated in the ways of pretty places.  To escape the Byron Bay crowds they chose Tyalgum as the location for their wedding, and I had the wonderful pleasure of being both photographer and guest.  Under a huge fig tree with views of Mt Warning on one side and The Border Ranges on the other, their wedding was filled with such simplicity, beauty and tenderness it was like being in a dream.  I especially loved the ring warming ceremony, with all of the guests holding the rings before being placed on Eirin & Annie May’s hands.  Oh and the “honey ceremony”, to remind us that “love is sweet”!  What an amazing day!  Congratulations Eirin and Annie and warmest wishes for a wonderful future together, surely you are the sweetest newlyweds living in Byron Bay!!  x Ann-Louise.
