Camilla + George : Newstead House Wedding

Wow, George and Camilla are two fantastic people!  You could imagine that arranging a Newstead House wedding in Brisbane while living in Dubai might be difficult, but not Camilla, she could possibly be my most fearless bride yet.  What a Skype champion!

Their wedding took place on a gorgeous day on the first weekend in January.  Hot weather?  Bah, not for these expert Dubai expats!  Camilla’s festive fuchsia dress was as vibrant as her personality, and having the amazing fortune of being related to (some would call legendary) Phoebe Stephens, her dress was complimented by the most incredible bouquet. Phoebe’s floral mastery is truly astounding, she had us all gasping!

George and his family also made a big impact with their fantastic Lebanese dancing at the reception, wow do they know how to party!  At two stages throughout the night George and Camilla were hoisted high into the air, and I had to wonder – when was the last time that the floorboards of Newstead House been given such a workout?

A week later George & Camilla were on their way back to Dubai with the scent of flowers, sparkle of sequins and hum of music trailing after them.  But the memory of this wedding will live on for quite a while yet!  Thank you George & Camilla for inviting me to photograph your amazing day, it was a true celebration and may you enjoy many years of happiness together!

xx Ann-Louise
